RRI is an independent not-for-profit scientific institution with more than forty
years experience in providing state-of-the-art technology and systems engineering
solutions for strategic programs in the defense, intelligence, and biomedical sectors.
RRI has unique expertise in software security and has a software security team dedicated
to providing government and commercial entities with specialized software security
support. The team has detailed knowledge of protection tools, techniques, and their
implementation. They have also developed numerous specialized tools and attack techniques
focusing on Reverse Engineering to evaluate the effectiveness of protection techniques
and to perform Malware, Virus, and RootKit analysis. The team can identify and analyze
intrusion software to characterize and/or neutralize the threat.
V.i. Labs will use Riverside Research Institute, Inc. (RRI) for regular, independent
testing of CodeArmor®, support for customer red team analysis, and identification
of new protection approaches based on its experience in analyzing new malware protection
techniques.
