Joe Noonan - President and CEO
As an industry veteran, Joe Noonan brings a wealth of expertise in guiding software
companies to success. Prior to V.i. Laboratories, Joe was most recently senior vice
president of worldwide sales, services and business development at Authentica Inc.
Before Authentica, Joe served as senior vice president of worldwide sales and services
at Eprise Corp., a publicly traded Web content management company, and was instrumental
in the successful sale of the company to Divine, Inc. Joe was also president and
CEO of Upspring Software, a software development tools company, and successfully
completed the sale of the company to MKS Systems. Joe also spent five years at Wall
Data Inc., a highly regarded publicly traded software company. During his tenure
at Wall Data, he managed a sales team that grew sales from 35 million to 150 million
and played a major role in the successful acquisition of Wall Data by Net Manage.
Joe has also held key management positions at both Memorex Telex Corp. and Burroughs
Corp.

Dr. David Pensak - Chief Scientist
Dr. David Pensak founded V.i. Laboratories after a distinguished 30 year career
at DuPont, where he held myriad senior research positions and served as a corporate
technology growth champion, providing guidance for and managing advanced computer-technology
explorations and development. He also now runs his own research institute, The Innovention
Group, to extend some of his chemical inventions. Dr. Pensak was the founder and
inventor of technology for two successful information security companies. Raptor
Systems provided the first commercial Internet firewalls for business and industry.
The company's rapid growth, commercial success and eventual acquisition by AXENT
Technologies (now Symantec) led to technical and financial recognition for Dr. Pensak.
Subsequently, he founded Authentica (acquired by EMC in February 2006), a recognized
leader in the enterprise digital rights management marketspace. Dr. Pensak has acted
as an adviser for the U.S. Department of Energy on Computer Security and Network
Protection, the Clinton Commission on Critical Infrastructure Protection, the U.S.
Office of Technology Assessment, and the National Center for Biotechnology Information.
From 1991-95, he served as director of the National Computer Graphics Association.

Geoff Oblak - Ascent Venture Partners
Geoff has 12 years of experience investing in early stage information technology
companies, including nine years at Ascent. Prior to joining Ascent, Geoff served
as an Investment Analyst in the Boston office of Norwest Venture Partners, where
he researched emerging technology markets and worked on successful investments such
as Quatritek Systems (acquired by Lucent) and Nashoba Networks (acquired by Cisco).
Prior to Norwest, he worked in the Audit/Business Advisory division of Arthur Andersen,
LLP, where he was sponsored by the firm in an accelerated MBA program. His current
board seats include V.i. Labs, Exchange Solutions, Fidelis Security, Forefield, Guardium, and
WebLayers. Geoff is a CPA and holds a CFA Charter. He is a member of the CFA Institute
and the Boston Security Analysts Society.

Pascal Luck - Core Capital Partners
Pascal is currently Managing Director at Core Capital, a $370 million private
equity fund that provides capital to both early-stage ventures and small to mid-sized
growth companies. Luck concentrates primarily on the firm's technology investments.
His areas of focus include the telecommunications, software, and information technology
sectors. Portfolio companies for which he is responsible include V.i. Labs, Covega, NexTone,
Sourcefire, and Trinity Convergence. Prior to joining Core, Mr. Luck was a Director
and Founder of CrossHill Financial Group, a DC-based, private investment banking
firm. At CrossHill, Mr. Luck was responsible for executing numerous merger and acquisition
transactions, private placements, and financial advisory assignments for clients
in the communications, high technology, manufacturing, and service industries. Earlier,
Mr. Luck was a Senior Manager in the management consulting division of Deloitte
& Touche, where he specialized in finance and strategy for the telecommunications
and information technology industries. His clients included AT&T, MCI, Sprint, GTE,
Bell Atlantic, Williams, and US West, among others. Mr. Luck began his career as
an engineer with Bell Laboratories working on the PBX product line and international
telecommunications standards. Mr. Luck is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a member
of the Association for Investment Management and Research. He holds an MBA in Finance
with Distinction from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, a Masters
of Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland, and a Bachelor of Science
degree in Physics/Engineering from Loyola College.

Ross Longfield - Rockford Capital
As a successful entrepreneur and investor, Ross Longfield brings significant
experience to his role at Rockford Capital and at V.i. Labs as a board member. Currently,
Longfield is a managing partner at Longfield Consulting LLC, a company he founded
in 2001 to provide consulting services to financial services companies, investor
groups and venture capital firms. He also serves on the boards of Liberty Tax Service,
the third largest and fastest tax service in the U.S. and Canada, as well as CoreStar
Financial, an originator of non-conforming and sub-prime mortgages.
From June 2001 to December 2004, he served as chairman of the board at Incurrent
Solutions Inc., a leading provider of Web-based customer service solutions for major
credit card issues including MBNA, CitiGroup and Target. In December 2004, Incurrent
was successfully sold to Online Resources. From 1960 to 1998 he held senior management
roles within Beneficial Corp. During his tenure as president and CEO of Beneficial
Refund Lending Services, the exclusive provider of refund lending products to customers
of H&R Block and all major tax preparation companies, he received four U.S. patents
related to the electronic filing of tax returns. Between June 1991 and June 1998,
he concurrently served as chairman and chief executive officer of Beneficial National
Bank USA, a provider of private label credit cards for major retailers such as Best
Buy, Costco, K-Mart and many others. At Beneficial, he was instrumental in growing
the bank from a start up to an $8 billion enterprise. In June 1998, he oversaw the
successful merger of Beneficial Corporation's credit card operations with those
of Household International, another major financial services firm, at which time,
he was named managing director and chief executive officer of Household Retail Services
USA. He served in this role until December of 2000.
